Press Release: WWS Fluid Cup 2024

Presented by Dream Makers

Get ready for the ultimate showdown at the final stop of the WWS Overall Tour, the WWS Fluid Cup. From Austria to Canada and back to the USA, the world’s best classical three-event skiers have been preparing for this moment, putting everything on the line to claim the event crown and earn their place on the Year End Overall Tour Podium.

Ski Fluid, the home site of world-renowned pro skier Kyle Eade, will host this final stop from October 18-20, 2024. With a world record set during this event last year by Joel Poland and countless national records, scores will be off the charts again. This Pro-Am style (Holly Cow Classic) event will give rising stars a chance to compete alongside the most elite Overall skiers in the world, offering the amateurs 3 Round, 3-event record competition, with a maximum of 6 pulls.

The competition kicks off on Friday, October 18, with the amateurs starting at 8 am and the pros hitting the water at 9 am. The full field will be fighting for a spot to move into the Sunday finals at 10 am EST, where only the top 6 men will advance. These incredible athletes will showcase their skills in all three disciplines—slalom, trick, and jump—in a 2-hour action-packed window. The final placements for the WWS Fluid Cup will be added to the WWS Overall Tour Rankings. The top 3 men will receive additional year-end bonuses of $7,000. But only one will be crowned 2024 Tour Overall Champion, earning the world’s best water skier title.

Make sure to mark your calendars and join us on the banks of Ski Fluid, right in the heart of the waterski world, between Tampa and Orlando off I-4 (Exit 44). For directions and full details about the event, visit WWS Fluid Cup. We can’t wait to see you there!
