This is the basic, community-level coach. As a Foundations coach, you may be working with kids or adults, beginners or novices, athletes or people who simply want to enjoy being on the water. The emphasis is placed on safety, fun, ethics, boat driving and values beyond competition. This clinic will help camps, schools, and volunteer coaches foster the love of the sport, promote participation, and teach basic skills to beginners of all ages through a variety of activities and disciplines.
In order to be eligible for this workshop please ensure you have the following:
- Active Water Ski Wakeboard Alberta Coach Membership
- Pleasure Craft Operating Card
- First Aid Certification
This workshop will take place online on June 18 and June 20th from 5:30 pm-9:30 pm MST each night. In order to receive full credit coaches must participate in both evenings.
Registration will close on Sunday, June 16 at 5 pm MST. All course content and meeting links will be sent out after.
