• Practice is $35. For slalom – 4 passes; tricks – 2 passes; and jump – 3 jumps

• Practice will be held all day on Aug. 6 and Aug. 7, and after the last event of the day, Aug. 8-12. There will be no practice at conclusion of last event on Aug. 13. Skiers can register for practice online at TBD

• Practice will end at 8:30 p.m. sharp, no exceptions

• Skiers must be registered and paid for Nationals in order to sign up for practice on Aug. 6 and 7

• Skiers will be only be allowed to sign up once per event they are skiing in Nationals

• Practice tickets are not refundable

• Each boat will have one assigned driver and one assigned rope handler. One pin person will be allowed during tricks only. No other individuals will be allowed in the boat during practice except for tricks, NO EXCEPTIONS

• Every 5th time slot will be offered to an official or staff

• Set times are tentative, please show up one hour before scheduled pull

• You must be ready in the water for your pull, waiting times will result in a loss in passes or jumps

• Trick practice will be held on Lake 1 (Jump and Trick lake)

• Slalom will take place on Lake 2

• Practice may be stopped at any time for Technical Controller and/or mapping

• Skiers with shared equipment are not allowed to schedule back to back with each other

• Towboats are subject to change at any time and will depend on the availability of boats provided by boat manufacturers

MPORTANT
Please read the information below regarding entry qualifications and procedures. Meeting entry qualifications and following the necessary procedures will determine whether or not you compete in the tournament. The contestant is responsible for meeting entry qualifications and providing proof of eligibility within the stated time limit.
QUALIFICATION
Please refer to the official Rule Book (PDF) of the American Water Ski Association and the 2021 Level 8 Cutoff Average (XLS) for qualifications' requirements. 
ENTRY AND ENTRY DEADLINE
Online entry submission is required. USA Water Ski & Wake Sports must receive entries before Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, to avoid penalty. Late entries will be accepted until 5 p.m. on the day prior to the scheduled start of the skier’s first event. Entries submitted on or after Aug. 2, 2021 will include a late fee of $15.00 per 24-hour period or portion thereof. ABSOLUTELY NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5 P.M., THE DAY PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED START OF THE SKIER’S FIRST EVENT.
ABSOLUTELY NO FAX ENTRIES. If you desire verification of receipt, please refer to the Registration Status Report online.
ENTRY FEES
1 Event: $165; 2 Events: $200; 3 Events: $235; Family of 3: $430* Family additional entries: $80 for each additional family member (each family participant must complete online registration and be a part of a family membership to be eligible for a family entry). Late Entry: $15.00/day or portion thereof. 
REGISTRATION
All contestants must register at the National Tournament, either in person, by web registration, or through a representative, providing all required proof of qualification and fees no later than one-half hour before the scheduled start of the contestant's first event. If the skier's registration is incomplete or is NOT shown as qualified and fully paid in the online registration system, then they would need to present themselves at on-site Registration. On-site registration must occur within the allowable hours as listed below.
No competitor will be permitted to ski in the 2021 GOODE Water Ski National Championships tournament unless he or she has signed the Adult/Minor Specific Event Waiver. Signature of parent or guardian is required for a minor entering the tournament.
Registration hours on site will be from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7; from 45 minutes prior to the start of the first event until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8 through Friday, Aug. 13; and from 45 minutes prior to the start of the first event until 30 minutes prior to the start of the last event on Saturday, Aug. 14.
REFUND POLICY 
$25 of the entry fee (per person) is an administration and processing fee and is non-refundable. Late fees are also non-refundable. If you registered for the 2021 GOODE Water Ski National Championships, and are you are unable to participate you must submit a cancellation request to USA Water Ski & Wake Sports in writing or by email to usawaterski@usawaterski.org prior to the start of your first event. If you do not submit a cancellation request, you will not receive a refund. Cancellation requests will be honored due to lack of qualification or medical with documentation provided. USA Water Ski & Wake Sports will pay refunds within 60 days following the conclusion of Nationals. 

Awards Information
Awards for slalom and jumping will take place immediately after the conclusion of each event. Awards for tricks will take place each day at 3:00 p.m. Awards for overall will take place right after the third event concludes unless the third event is tricks, in which case it will take place at 3:00 p.m.
