Fluid Cup Schedule Changes due to Weather delays!

WWS Update for Pro Overall Skiers

Despite challenging slalom conditions today, we witnessed some incredible skiing. However, due to strong wind gusts and the cancellation of the jump event, WWS has decided to move all 9 pro skiers directly to the finals on Sunday to ensure the best and fairest conditions. This sets the stage for an epic showdown, where athletes and fans alike will experience the competition at its peak!

With high winds expected on Saturday, the finals have been rescheduled to Sunday, starting at 9:00 AM with jump, followed by slalom, and concluding with tricks.

The traditional overall format—slalom, trick, jump—will challenge skiers to adjust their strategies as they fight for the ultimate title. This promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the WWS Overall Tour, and we can’t wait to see these athletes deliver their best in the final battle!

Come join us in the Red Bull tent to relax with appetizers and drinks while watching the action unfold, and meet these incredible athletes. If you can’t make it in person, catch the live webcast directly from the Fluid Cup event page. Subscribe now to stay updated and avoid any further weather surprises!

Update for the Tournament Skiers

Hi Skiers,

Today was a tough day on the water!
The forecast for tomorrow isn’t much better, but we are optimistic that we will get some decent skiing in!
We will be starting at 7:30 AM with OW Jump, followed by more 5.5 ft jumping, 6ft, and then 5ft if the conditions allow. Slalom will follow, but please arrive early in case jump is shortened. Slalom will start no earlier than 9:30 AM.

We are hoping conditions will be skiable, but regardless, this will be everyone’s first round.
Tricks will follow slalom, but will start no earlier than 12:30 PM.
All rounds of tricks will be completed tomorrow afternoon. If you would like to exchange your round of jump or slalom tomorrow for tricks, you are welcome to do so, as long as you let us know by 10:00 AM.

The updated schedule and running order has been attached and published on WorldWaterSkiers.com, IWSF, and USAWaterski Live Results.
Thank you for your patience, and fingers crossed the weather cooperates!
