Practice rounds will be available on Friday (and possibly earlier in the week).

£25 per set (15 mins). We will endeavour to plan another skier in a Duel boat alongside, subject to a skier being available. To be paid in cash on site.

Pro Knockout Format
Maximum of 32 skiers, 16 Women and 16 Men.
Entries are open from 1st March for the top 16 Men & Women from the final 2021 Pro Tour leader board.
From 1st April any unfilled places will be offered to athletes outside the top 16.
If you were outside the top 16, please notify your interest to ensure you are offered a place when available.
We reserve the right to change these figures
The Duel will qualify as a 2 star Waterski Pro Tour event
The winner of the PRO-AM 55 & PRO-AM 58 will receive Cash prizes of GBP £300.
The winner of the CUP 58 will receive a Cash prize of GBP £250

Amateur Knockout Format
32 x 55kph skiers, 8 x 58kph skiers
Entries are open from 1st March on first come first served basis.
We reserve the right to change the number of skiers and the format
All skiers will hold a current BWSW tournament licence and membership to the BWSW.
This event is a handicap event based on your Personal Best (PB) score in an official tournament.
The winner of the PRO-AM 55 & PRO-AM 58 will receive Cash prizes of GBP £300.
The winner of the CUP 58 will receive a Cash prize of GBP £250.

Pro Knockout FormatInitial Seeding
The top 8 skiers will be seeded and will ski the qualifier against a non-seeded skier. Seeding is based on 2021 Pro Leader board.
Qualifying Method
The winner of the qualifying Duel on Saturday will qualify for the 8-person Pro Quarter Final on Sunday.
The loser will proceed to the PRO-AM, where each Pro will ski the first round of the PRO-AM against an Amateur. The Pro-Am event is handicapped, and details can be found in the Amateur Format section. All skiers will ski in at least 2 Duels.
Skiers’ Choice of Boat
Each boat will have a dedicated driver. Top seeded skier chooses the boat they want to ski behind. Boats will remain in the same course, unless in a tie-break.
Ties
If two or more skiers tie in their Duel. They will swap courses and immediately rerun from the opposite direction of the tied round.
To Win
Each pass of your Duel, the rope will shorten as per a normal tournament. If you fall or fail to make a buoy or gate and your competitor makes that buoy or gate, you’re out of that Duel.
It’s simple – Last person standing wins.
Start Speeds Pro Qualifier PRO QF, SF & FINAL
Men 13m/58kpm 12m/58kph
Women 14.25m/55kph 13m/55kph
Placements 3rd to 8th place
Positions 3rd to 4th will be determined by best losing score in the semi-final.
Positions 5th to 8th will be determined by best losing score in the quarter final.
If there is a tie between skiers, the Pro Points will be split.

Amateur Knockout Format
The organisers reserve the right to amend the PB score if they understand that the PB is not up to date 5 kph Skiers (Men and Women) of different speeds/rope lengths will be duelling together.
58 kph Skiers (Men) of different speeds/rope lengths will be duelling together.
Handicapping
The skiers first Duel will be 4 rope lengths longer than the skiers PB, based on 4 boys, i.e. a PB of 3@13/55, will have a start speed of 18/55, however a PB of 4.5@13/55 will have a start speed of 16/55.
The skiers second Duel onwards will be 1 rope length shorter than their first Duel.
Start Speeds
Minimum start speed will be 18m/52kph for skiers shortening at 55kph
Minimum start speed will be 18m/55kph for skiers shortening at 58kph
Qualifying
55kph – If you win your opening Duel you progress to Amateur A, win this and you are in a head-to-head in the Pro-Am against a Pro.
If you lose your opening Duel, you progress to Amateur B; win this and you’re in the CUP 55 QF.
58kph – You are straight into the Pro-Am in a head-to-head against a Pro.
If you lose this opening Duel, you progress into the CUP 58 QF.
Everyone gets to ski in at least 2 Duels.
Toss of Coin to choose red or blue boat. The drivers will always remain in the same boat. The boats will remain in the same courses, unless in a tie-break.
To Win
Each pass of your Duel, the rope will shorten, or the boat speed will increase as per a normal tournament. You drop in each end.
If you fall or fail to make a buoy or gate and your competitor makes that buoy or gate, you’re out.
It’s simple – Last person standing wins.
Ties
If two skiers tie in their deciding Duel, they will swap courses and immediately rerun from the opposite direction of the tied round.
If they tie a second time, the skier with the best tournament slalom score will progress to the next round. If there is still a tie, then a coin toss will decide who progresses to the next round.
Payout
The winner of the PRO-AM 55 & PRO-AM 58 will receive Cash prizes of GBP £300.
The winner of the CUP 58 will receive a Cash prize of GBP £250.
