Just south of Bakersfield is a three-lake complex designed specifically for water sports events. The three lakes sit directly adjacent to each other, allowing for multiple events to take place at the same time with easy access to each lake for spectators. The lake design allows for a vendor or spectator area to be setup between the lakes. The venue has hosted the USE WaterSki National Championships four times (1999, 2000, 2001 and 2006) and the 2008 and 2009 (scheduled) INT Waterski National Championships.
