Mike’s Wakeboard and Wakesurf Lessons, previously known as Hangtime Wakeboard School, is one of the longest running water sports lesson services in Canada. Featuring the best coaches and equipment to provide every guest with the best experience. Mike Fisette, the owner and Head Coach, is an Alumni of the Canadian National Wakeboard Team. He's won National Wakeboard Championships multiple times and travelled the world wakeboarding. He's passionate about sharing the water sports experience he loves with great people, friends and families. BOOK A SESSION THIS SUMMER. Mike started coaching when he was 13 years old in Ontario for Hangtime Wakeboard School, which he took over as owner and operator for three years. In 2014, it was time for a change and Mike moved to beautiful Osoyoos, British Columbia where he worked as General Manager and Head Coach for #1 TripAdvisor rated attraction Wakepilot Watersports Charters full time for 5 years. Last winter, Mike graduated from business school with degrees in Marketing and Finance. He got lucky and landed a great marketing job in Edmonton, Alberta. This means coaching hours have been reduced to evenings and weekends but Mike still offers coaching for anyone who needs it.
