Marketplace Guidelines

The WWS Marketplace is a free service created to support the waterski community. Our goal is to help skiers connect, buy, and sell equipment more easily. Please note: all transactions are strictly between buyer and seller — WWS is not involved in payments, shipping, or exchanges and assumes no liability.

 

SELLER Guidelines

  • Create a new listing for each item you want to sell.

  • Upload up to 4 clear photos of the actual item.

  • Provide honest and detailed descriptions, including any wear or damage.

  • Prices should be listed in your local currency.

  • Respond promptly to buyer inquiries.

  • Work out all details (payment, pickup, shipping, etc.) directly with the buyer.

  • Listings are visible for 30 days unless you click Relist.

  • Once your item is sold, please mark it as Sold in your account. It will stay visible for a further 15days but marked Sold.

  • Please follow all applicable local/state laws when selling items such as boats or property.

  • Please check your post looks correct.

 

 

BUYER Guidelines

  • Browse by category or use search to find items of interest.

  • Buyers initiate contact by filling out the form on the listing page.

  • Sellers will receive an email notification, and must reply directly to you from their email address.

  • Negotiate directly with the seller for pricing, shipping, and payment.

  • Use safe payment methods and trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, walk away.

  • Remember: WWS is not a party to the transaction.

 

 

BASIC RULES

  • No improper or fraudulent postings. Abuse may result in account suspension.

  • Be respectful, honest, and fair — this marketplace is here to help our community.

  • Scams exist: beware of offers that seem too good to be true, checks/money orders for more than the asking price, or requests for sensitive personal information.

  • Never send cash. Use trusted methods like PayPal or bank transfers only with people you trust.

By using the WWS Marketplace, you agree that:

  • Listings expire after 30 days unless renewed.

  • All prices are set in the seller’s local currency.

  • All transactions are between buyer and seller. WWS provides the platform only and is not responsible for the safety, quality, or delivery of items listed.
