Humble beginnings.... Learned to ski at YMCA camp in Texas. Bought first boat at 15 with money earned from mowing yards and paper route. Founding member of UT Arlington Skl Club, Developed 3 ski sites in North Texas on public water, grew Metroplex Ski Club from 28 members to 320 from 1986-1988. Founded water ski slalom league in 1985 which spread to 5 clubs and has endured through today. Co-founded show ski team and held SCR regionals with 5 teams at home site in Las Colinas (Irving), TX. Began quest for nationals ranking in 2014 with 6 top 5 finishes in trick, broke my 30 year PB in slalom at 67. I have been blessed to ski and train with Mary Gray, Mitch Grau both holding national records. Blessed to qualify and ski in 2022, 2024 worlds making finals, but more importantly meeting skiers from across the world with the same enthusiasm. Hope to ski you soon !
