Gerhard Kutt

Been water skiing since I was 6 yrs old. Started competing at 8 yrs. Serious competitive 3 events from 1972 - Hong Kong representative, Hong Kong Champion for 12 years, S.E. Asian Overall champion 1977 - favourite sport was jump - 140ft. Skied in German Open Championships in 1976, Won Malaysian Open Championship 1982. Stayed a top skier in Asia until retirement in 1985 dominating slalom and most of all Jump - weakest was tricks.
Continued to coach, drive, organize tournaments, driver, judge. Organized Water Ski Shows - built water skis, specialty ropes for show skiing, ran water ski magazine for Hong Kong events. Represented Hong Kong at Worlds 1981 and World Cup Team representing S.E. Asia in 1985.
Now back to coaching and trying to get fit again at 68 !! Lovin it !!
Still have my EP Jump and Slalom skis - Kidder too. Broke all the other ones so will think about trick - would LOVE to get back into jumping, but a bit scared of injury - so far luckily nothing serious.
Got to know Mike Suyderhoud and Lisa, heros - Sammy and Camille Duval, Mike Hazelwood, Karl Roberge, Karen Roberge, Deena Brush, Carlos Suarez, Brett Wing, Glenn Thurlow, Liz Allen etc. etc.
