Alexia Abelson

My name is Alexia Abelson, and I’m a competitive water skier from Gilbert, Arizona. I grew up skiing with my parents and brother, and I’m lucky to be coached by Camilo Espinel and Jimmy Siemers. I compete in all three events—slalom, trick, and jump—but I especially love slalom and flipping in trick. I’m also a competitive gymnast during the off-season, which helps me stay strong and focused. I love the thrill of competing and pushing myself to improve. My current goals are to trick over 9,000 points and run 38 off in slalom.
