Born in Bulawayo, Rhodesia I only started skiing at 35 after immigrating to Canada. I.shattered my right ankle and leg in an accident in 2012. I had to learn how to walk again and have had several surgeries in an effort to try and save my talus. Unfortunately the bone never recovered. I learned how to ski again and just recently was able to remove the lift from under my front binding. I have very little range of motion but have learned to work around this. Obviously skiing is my passion and I ski as much as I can.
