I live in Belcarra across from the Vancouver Water Ski Club located in Bedwell Bay (south end of Indian Arm) so I ski in the ocean where we have to deal with tides, crab traps, debris from up the arm and other boaters that cause us problems in the course.
I have skied for many years and used to compete in all three events but have had two hips replaced as well as a few other injuries so I do not jump anymore and just started to get back on my trick ski.
My top speed is now 52 kph and my tournament best is 1 1//2 on a 13 meter line.
I snow ski (mostly at Sun Peaks, BC) and play some pickleball.
